The Eastern Dwarves (Wm."Wâren", L."Heshed") or Four Houses of the East were those Khazâd who did not awake in the Westlands but in the Spine of Arda or northern Orocarni and the Northern Dark Mountains, the Stiffbeards, Ironfists, Blacklocks and Stonefoots.
