The so-called Dying Glacier was largest of the glaciers in the Ered Mithrin. It emanated from a cleft near Gondmaeglom and flew eastward down onto the Withered Heath. An ice cave situated just south of the Dying Glacier served as the lair of the Dragon Lomaw.
