The Dwarves of Dunland were a number of Dwarven clans who inhabited Thrór's Coomb in the southwestern Misty Mountains along the foothills of Dunland.Most of these dwarves were of Firebeard descend but after the fall of Erebor they had been joined by many exiled Longbeards.
As Dwarves were masters of integrating in mannish society while still staying among their own kind and keeping up their own old traditions many Dwarves indeed spoke with a strong dunnish accent (Balin son of Fundin, Dwálin son of Fundin, Gloin and Gimli son of Glóin had all lived in Dunland for long times).
