Brôntrig was a Dunlending settlement in the Gap of Rohan just south of Dol Baran.During the War of the Ring the locals were fiercely loyal to Isengard.
In earlier days there had been a larger settlement known as Dinas Claddauc the remains of whuch could still be seen around Brôntrig.
