Drogo Took was a Hobbit who was the son of Arabella and Ferdibrand Took. Named after Drogo Baggins, Drogo learned that one of his relatives Peregrin Took had ventured out of the Shire and fought in the War of the Ring. As he was growing up, Drogo was wanting to set out from the Shire and accompany Pippin to the grand kingdom of Gondor.
