Devitt

Devitt was a person to whom the legendary Devitt Warsword had once belonged.Although the Sword was a known artifact in Rohan, the name Devitt hints towards a Hillman origin.The Devitt may have been one of the Clans or families of eastern Angmar whom the Éothéod drove out of the Upper Anduin Vales so the Devitt Warsword became a war trophy and later heirloom of the Rohirrim.
