Daxamâs was a yellowish-white powder refined from the leaves of the daxa, a water-loving plant related to the cattail. Daxamâs was refined by boiling daxa leaves, straining the extract, then allowing it to evaporate. Daxamâs damaged the heart, causing natural-seeming heart disease; at minimum, it had no ill effects.
