Daskila was an Uruk who was born in the underground caverns of Isengard. During the War of the Ring, he was among the 10,000 troops that were dispatched by their master Saruman to march directly to Helm's Deep to subdue the people of Rohan. Like most Uruks, Daskila was very obedient in a way, but had a distaste towards the lesser Orcs since he and his kin never took orders from them, especially those from Mordor. Upon arriving at Helm's Deep, Daskila believed that the Rohirrim would lose this battle, but this one would be the first and last battle that he would be a part of. When Aldor, who was a descendant of Aldor the Old, accidentally released his arrow, Daskila was shot in the neck, making him the first Uruk to fall at the beginning of the battle.

The scene of the first Uruk to fall frommthe arrow of an aged Rohir appears in the Two Towers movie, the name of the archer and the Orc were never spoken or mentioned in the film, but Aldor's name appeared in the the lord of the rings collectible Card Game.
