Daen Horsemen
The Daen-Horse was a wild breed of rugged Horses, indigenous to the foothills of the Hithaeglir and Ered Nimrais.In the First Age the ancestors of the Daen were sucessful in domesticating them.The Daen-Horses became the ancestors of the common Eriadorian Horses and, crossbred with the Westernesse Race, of the Horses of Gondor.The great Dunland-Pony was a late and relatively pureblooded descandant of this archaic Breed.
