
Déorwine, the first Knight of Rohan
A Rohirric Thane of Walstow and chief of Theoden's Household Knights, Déorwine was a superb Warrior. He fell at the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
He was the son of Léofwyn and Gísil and married to a woman named Winsig.He had a brother named Gísling.

In the Movie trilogy Théoden's first Knight is renamed "Gamling", in the books an old man from Helm´s deep.
