Cwellanbrand was a brave Rohirrim rider who lived in the kingdom of Rohan. During the War of the Ring, he took refuge in the old fortress of Helm's Deep and joined in the battle to defend Theoden's people who were seeking refuge in the Glittering Caves. He was slain by Uruks while defending the Hornburg and left no heir for his sword.
