The original Cult of Ezran originally was a superstitious religion that originated in the Zorian Wastes among early mannish servants of the Lords of Essence.The prime figure of worship among these early Ezrans was a deity called Sûrt, most likely one of the Althans or a being created by them to communicate to their mortal adherents.
In later times however the - at the time dying - cult of Ezran had been corrupted by Teleus, a fallen Elf, who reorganised the small sect into a dark cult worshiping the Unlife.These New Ezrans saw all traces of their forefathers old religion as blasphemic heresy.The last group which still upheld the original ways of the Cult were the Cloud-Lords, although even they followed the Cult of Ezran only in a cynical and calculating form.
