The basic Idea of Conversions is to be able to play MERP, TOR, or LOTRRPG Adventures with other game Systems, for example D&D , or to adapt Adventures or Backgrounds from other Game Systems to a Middle-Earth Setting.

For example all MERP modules could easily be played with D&D, by replacing the Stats of MERP creatures or NPC's with premade D&D stats (for example taken from Dungeons & Dragons Wiki, D20 NPCs Wiki or D&D Books)
