Metals

The world of Arda was rich in metals, many of which were prized for their strength, beauty, and mystical properties. Some were common, used in the forging of tools and weapons, while others were legendary, infused with magic or blessed by the Valar. From the mithril veins of Khazad-dûm to the blackened iron of Angband, metals were both the foundation of kingdoms and the instruments of war.
