Iron Mountains

The Iron Mountains (S."Ered Engrin"or "Orodengri") had once been the great mountain range in the farthest north of Middle-earth. Ever since the cataclysm at the end of the First Age, its westernmost portion lay mostly beneath the sea, while the rest of the range was sundered by the great Bay of Utûm.
