Continent

The world of Arda, as shaped by the Valar and later changed by the great cataclysms of history, was divided into several vast continents, each holding its own lands, peoples, and mysteries. From the ancient heartlands of Middle-earth to the distant and near-forgotten realms beyond, these lands bore witness to the struggles of gods, Elves, Men, and Úvanimor, gradually changing over time—some were sundered, others drowned beneath the waves, and still others remained unknown and unexplored by the Free Peoples of Middle-earth.
