Camthalion (S.: "Steadfast Hand") was an elf of Nando and Avar descend who wielded considerable local power. He was the second in command to the Master of Celebannon, Othor (S.: "Warrior") and had an ever-present watchful eye over the Forest river commanding Twenty-seven warriors of the elite Tirduin (S.: "River Watch") fighters to keep order. His daughter Naurmireth (S.: "Fire Flower") had been abducted by a Hildo raiding party while gathering fruit and the elven ranger was hungry for information regarding her fate.
