Caethmir (E. "First Cause") son of was one of the early Edain who had betrayed his own people to serve Morgoth at Angband.He was the father of Angmabwed and Thanghad.

In the Angband roguelike games "Castamir" supposedly was intended to be Castamir the Usurper.As this character however wasn't even born yet in the first Age this minion of Angband is here reinterpreted as a first Age character.
