Céorl the Rider
Céorl of the Hemingfoendas was a member of House Hemingfoend. The son of Gerle and Bregohere, he was the younger brother of Othnir and Grimbold. During the War of the Ring, Ceorl had trained for years to become a Warrior of the Westfold and became a loyal follower of Erkenbrand, serving as a messenger in bringing news of the Second Battle of the Fords of Isen to the host of King Théoden.
