The Brigaic or Brigamaboi (Bre. "Hillish" or old Du. "Hill-sons") were an Eriadorian tribal group descending from the Branomaboi. They fled from southern Enedhwaith into to northern Eriador in the 17th century of the Second Age and eventually settled along the Great East Road in a region the Dúnedain would call "Bregiondor", later westronized as "Bree-land".
Notes[]
- Original form in MERP:
Brerion→ Brigaic: “Brerion” is a fantasy form; “Bregion” is actual Welsh meaning "breaches" or "cracks". It has been replaced here by fantasy forms based on reconstructed Old Brythonic.
