Brandy Hall: The traditional Great Smial of the patriarch of the Brandybuck clan and Master of Buckland, this vast complex of tunnels and rooms delved into Buck Hill was also home to swarms of Brandybucks and related Hobbits. Gorhendad Oldbuck began the first excavations of Brandy Hall some time after T.A. 2340 (S.R. 740), and it was regularly expanded by his decendents, until it had “three large front doors, many side-doors, and about a hundred windows”, and had become “a regular warren”.
