Borangos the Horror (Me? "?") was a Great Rogmul, one of Sauron's chief servants, and participated in meetings of the Black Council. While similar to other Regmyl in appearance, this spirit of fire was possessed of a "terrible majesty" which was "an order of magnitude greater than those others."
After Sauron's defeat, Borangos became one of the major remaining powers in Mordor.
