The Bolvag (Or. "Curse") was an Orc-Demon created by Sauron in the Second Age. The Bolvag served as Mordor's highest ranking orcish priest and sorcerer. The first became the father of the breed of Orcish mages and shamans. The title was passed on to the acting High Dush bred by Sauron: everytime the old Bolvag died, Sauron created a new one.
