Boffin Country was the name applied by Hobbits of The Shire to the traditional Folk-land of the Boffin-clan: the lands along the Yale, south of the eastern part of the Great East Road, and the northeastern Green Hill Country, with the villages of Woodhall, Frogmorton, Whitfurrows, and the northern strip of the Marish, bordering Bolger Territory.
