Bo-lagg (language and meaning unknown) was a man who ca. T.A. 1640 had summoned a weary band of adventurers to quietly join him on a mission to steal the Ring of Axandil from its rightful owner, Veäntur of the Tower of Cirith Ungol. His plan was to seize the mithril-ring and sneak out the back way past Shelob or fight his way past her. He wondered who would leave and who would stay, but realized all in his group were as greedy and bold as he. He wondered who would first betray him and run off with the Ring — if any of them got that far. It was unfortunate that there was room for only one finger in the Ring, thought Bo-lagg.
Notes[]
- Bo-lagg's name does not seem to be from any known language of the Westlands, so most likely he was an Easterling, a Variag of Khand, or even a Half-orc.
