A Black Rat
Larger and fiercer than brown rats, starving black rats (rat Q. Morinyarror: "Black-snarler") en masse had been known to attack people. Usually though, they were not a threat to adventurers. But as they were carriers of various diseases, one should have been wary of close contact with these animals.
