The Black flyer (S."Morrimpir") was a remote relative to the Grey flyer of the tropical rainforests. It was small and rare , home only in substantial forests such as the Eryn Vorn.It hunted in packs of 4-40 individuals and lived in huge colonies - woe to anyone who stumbled upon their nests!

The Cardolanian grey flyer actually was no separate species but the lighter colored appearance of the male Black flyer throughout the summer months.Grey flyers were less poisonous while the black flyers carried a nasty nerve poison in their tiny claws.
