Bernô

Bernô (S./Av. "Valiant warrior") was a powerful Maia , once a servant of Araw and one of the Great Bear spirits.He had been camptured by Morgoth's servants and brought to Angband where he was tortured but eventually broke free and roamed the cavernous lybyrinths beneath Thangorodrim.However at the point his spirit had already been driven insane and he was a danger for friend and foe alike.

In the Angband games this character is actually meant to be Beorn the Skinchanger, as Beorn however wasn't even born in the first Age, here he was replaced by another, however similar character, one of his possible ancestors.
