Berenar (S. "?") was a Ranger of Ithilien who was the son of Beranar. Described as valiant, like many Gondorian warriors and soldiers, he learned the skills to be a ranger from his father. After his father was killed during the Corsair Wars, Berenar would grow up to serve in Captain Faramir's company during the War of the Ring, and defended the southern borders of Ithilien.
