Boromir: "Is it not a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt for so small a thing? So small a thing!" - J. R. R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring II:10 |
Berelach (S. "Valiant-flame"? or "Wild/Fierce-flame"?) was the only recorded son of Borlas of Pen-Arduin and grandson of Beregond of Lossarnach. He had an older sister, who is not named.
Berelach served in the King's navy. For many years he was stationed at the Harlond, but when he was given a high command, he moved to Pelargir and was often long at sea. In his youth he was friend of Saelon, who was somehow connected to the "Dark Tree" – the growing threat of evil in Gondor.
