Bercilak Brandybuck, a cousin of Meriadoc Brandybuck, was a Hobbit from Buckland, living with his clan as a swineherd of Gorbadoc Brandybuck at Bucklebury.

- In The New Shadow, Bercilac Brandybuck originally was the name of a cousin of Meriadoc Brandybuck and Bingo Bolger (who would later evolve into Frodo Baggins). The name was later replaced by Lanorac Brandybuck and finally replaced by Fredegar Bolger.
