Belegorn (S. "Great/Mighty-tree") was a Dúnadan scholar attracted by the ancient Lore of Númenor. He found his way to the ruins of Carn Dûm to study the Witch-king's secrets, and eventually fell to the dark powers, becoming a sorcerer and an agent of the Nameless.
