Baugar (Or./B.S.? "?") was a lesser Gayirm-Orc who served in Sauron's armies during the War of the Ring. Despite being short, he had a superior sense of smell, which made him a great tracker. While wandering in Mordor, Baugar caught the scent of two individuals, who were revealed to be Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee, that had arrived in Mordor to destroy the One Ring. He followed their trail towards Mount Doom, but his efforts failed when the volcano erupted and he was killed by the burning lava.
