Barukkizdîn (Kh. "Axe-Hall") was a dwarven settlement below mount Barak-Shathûr (Kh. "Cloud-Axe"). It was populated mostly by descendants of the Broadbeams who had allied themselves (after the death of their kings) with the heirs of Dúrin's Folk. But Barukkizdîn was also home to a small battalion of Blacklocks, Axes of Nargubraz who had stayed in the Westlands after the Goblin Wars.
