Barahir (S. "Fiery-lord") of Gondor was the eighth Ruling Steward. He lived during the Watchful Peace and followed his father Hador as Steward at an age of already 105 and ruled for only 17 years (T.A. 2395 - 2412). He was succeeded by his son Dior.
