Barad Narn (S. "Tower [of the] Tale") was one of a line of three towers located along the eastern flanks of the Weather Hills in Uimirrildor, one every twenty miles. Barad Thoron and Barad Ever lay to the north. They were connected by a military road, an extension of the Men-i-Sûl, that ran along the eastern slopes of the Emyn Sûl. It served as home to some fifty peasants, who tended the towers' herds and gardens, as well as defending the walls in need.
