Barad Eldanar (S: "Fortress [of] Eldanar") was an ancient Arnorian castle built on the eastern edge of the Dyr Úvadan, home of House Eldanar. It later served as the staging point for Angmarrim cavalry raids into eastern Arthedain, and had a large and dangerous garrison.
