Bar Fordelin was a country manor of Anórien.In ca. T.A. 3009- F.A. 14 it was inhabited by the wealthy Dúnadan Fordelin and his family and servants. The estate lay few miles west of Calost, on the south side of the Great North Road. The manor house sat approximately half a mile from the road and was reached by a path which ran behind his estate parallel withthe main road. Another track branched off opposite Fordelin's manor and ran to the beacon-tower of Calenhad .Fordelin's estate contained a small stables to the west of the manor house, which could hold up to seven steeds at any given time. A spring just east of the house provided water for its washbasins, privies, and kitchen.
