The Bûrskâdek (Ak."Warrior-scions" or "Warrior-farmers") were a large people of traders, fishermen, planters, and herders from central Middle-earth, one of the few fully sedentary groups of the plains-culture. Two major cities ruled their land of Bûrskâdekdar: Skâd on Lake Bûrskâdekdar and Old Bûrskâdekdar in the southwestern hills. The Bûrskâdek spoke an Adek-dialect and were known for their well-armed warriors and martial success.
