Orcliquor

Bûrdrasak was an enchanted orcish Grog brewed by Orc-sorcerors, developed in ancient Angband as a quick and inexpensive intoxication agent and healing solution, in an environment with exceptionally poor medical techniques. It was regarded as pleasant to no creature, not even the Orcs themselves, who used it only to staunch fatigue and to dull the senses sufficiently to somewhat ignore the misery of Orcish life. It contained undeniably unsanitary and disgusting ingredients such as Alcohol made from rotted flesh, the fermented blood of Lesser Orcs, mud blended with rotting foilage, Orc Shirog containing various dastardly herbs, and even metallic and mineral dusts from stuffy rock-tunnels included to bolster blood strength. Naturally, it tasted like death itself to any non-orc; somewhere between extremely bitter, meaty and fleshy, and concerningly toxic in taste, and usually only a few mouthfuls could be swallowed without vomiting, unless forced. Nonetheless, to Orcs and others, it was an effective stimulant, focusing the mind and nullifying any other mental and emotinal pain, burning in the soul like a most potent liquor, as well as hastening regneration and healing, reducing internal bleeding and raising stamina. It was sometimes regarded by the rustic as the corrupted Orcish equivalent to Elven Miruvor.
