Arnald of Grodbened (G. "Royal wood of the chin-cave"?) was a powerful man, a messenger secretely in service of Angband he roamed the wilds of Beleriand. Some speculated that underneath his fleshy frame was a powerful construct bent on the destruction of Morgoth's enemies.
