Arkhâd (Ad? ?) was one of an oligarchy of six "Captains of the Havens" who collectively ruled Umbar between TA 1607 and TA 1650. He was the Lord of Pellardur and ruled from the Westerly Tower of Umbar.
Arkhâd was the smallest of the Oligarchs. He fought with sword and shield and was the only Captain of the Havens who employed a woman - Bavire - as his high captain.
