Boromir: "Is it not a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt for so small a thing? So small a thing!" - J. R. R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring II:10 |
Arandil (Q./S. "King's-freind") (TA 1079-1153) was the eldest son of Cirion of Cardolan and the fourth King of that land. He was succeeded by his son Calemendil.
Notes[]
Original form in MERP: Tarandil.
However the successors of Eärendur of Arnor took Sindarin, not Quenya names; this is corrected here by replacing Tarandil with its Sindarin equivalent.
