Ar-Zimrathôn (Ad. "King Many-jewels"?), also recorded as Tar-Hostamir (Q. of same meaning?), was born in S.A. 2798. He ruled as the twenty-first King of Númenor from S.A. 2962 until his death in S.A. 3033. Zimrathôn maintained his father Ar-Adûnakhôr's policies regarding the proscription of Elven tongues and ways, and he continued the persecution of the Faithful. When he died, his son Sakalthôr took the sceptre.
