Finally you'll be able to calculate the experience points for Lord of the Rings MERP without using calculator or any table. I've based the system in my favourite one, that is, the classical system from MERP red book. It is useful for characters until level 25. Let's take a look at it!

First and only once, you're to write the names and experience points of the players. In future occasions, when you use MERP PEX the experience points will keep actualized. Notice that the level of each character will be automatically calculated with the data introduced, so it's important you fill the data correctly. For each adventure, you have to select which characters have to be included, as it's possible that any of your players didn't participate on it. Then save the names and go to the next screen.

After that, the system is pretty simple. In the upper part of the screen, you'll establish the number of critics and victims for each level. If for example a character delivered one A critic to a creature of level 2, killed 3 creatures of level 2 and killed 2 creatures of level 5, use the arrows until you see 2-1-0-0-0-0-3 for the 2nd level, and 5-0-0-0-0-0-2 for the 5th level. For the magic is even easier, as it's enough with moving the arrows of the first column to get the level of the spell and the second column to indicate the amount of spells cast for that level. For maneuvers, use the arrows for indicating the amount for every difficulty (it goes from very easy to absurd, as routine maneuvers don't give experience points). Then, use the bar to indicate the importance that the character had for the consecution of the objectives. Finally, introduce manually the experience points got by the lost of life points and extra points. You have to notice that for simplicity I haven't given the possiblility in MERP PEX of reducing experience points when a character kills an slept foe, so you can rest in this place the esperienc points you consider fair for that reason.

When all the characters have got their experience points, just press the group tab, and complete the experience points for travelling and for finishing the adventure. Then press the Calculate PEX button and get the results. Finally, press the Save button and MERP PEX will store your experience points for MERP for the next time you use the app.

I hope you enjoy it!!!
