Boromir: "Is it not a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt for so small a thing? So small a thing!" - J. R. R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring II:10 |

According to the Teaching of Bero, Anthargairu was one of the first five shapeshifters among the Beiabarn. The House of Anthargairu pleaded on him as their ancestor.
Notes[]
Original form: Otrugar. Like all Old Rhovanian languages, Attlatunga, the tongue of the Beiabarn, is represented by latinized Gothic. However the name Otrugar seems obscure. The Othru element might be derived from Norse Odhr (fury, ecstasy, inspiration; the actual Gothic form is wods) or Anglo-Saxon ōþer (other) while the gar element certainly is gothic gáir(u) (sting, spear).
Original and corrected forms:
- Atliduk → Attlatunga
- Bair → Bero
- Beijabar → Beiabarn
- Otrugar → Anthargairu
