Annael (S. "Star-gift") was a Sinda Elf who hid with others of his kind in Androth, the caves of Mithrim. He became the foster father of Tuor. Subtle, compassionate, and above all rugged, Annael lived an ascetic life, being a fugitive in a relatively desolate area. Annael was a classic Sinda and had sandy hair and grey eyes. However, in keeping with his storied destiny, he stood taller (6'7") than the average Grey Elf.
It is unknown what became of Annael, but he survived and went to live with Cirdan on the Isle of Balar, and he probably fought in the War of Wrath. If he survived the War of Wrath, then he probably retired at Lindon with Cirdan.
