Angolam "Serpent-tongue" was a mannish agent of Angband who served as an ambassador to the early Edain and Easterlings.He was a man related to the later House of Hador who had been expelled by his own tribe but had been successful to win followers among the folk of Uldor the Accursed.

In the Angband roguelikes "Wormtongue" was originally intended to be Gríma Wormtongue, but as Grima was not born yet in the first Age he is here reinterpreted into a different character.
