Boromir: "Is it not a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt for so small a thing? So small a thing!" - J. R. R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring II:10 |

Andróg (S? "Long-wolf"? or "with wolves"?) was a man of the Hadorians who had been banished from Dor-lómin for killing a woman, and eventually joined the Gaurwaith outlaws of southern Brethil, taking with him his son Andvir. He was the second-in-command after Forweg and, though hard-hearted and jealous of Beleg Cúthalion, always supported Túrin Turambar and acted as his lieutenant. Andróg died from an orc-wound, at Amon Rûdh, but not before saving Beleg's life, whom the Orcs had roped with iron pins to the hill's summit.
