Almáriel (Q. "Blessedness" + female name suffix) (S.A. 3310-3429) was a Númenórean woman who had lived in Númenor, and wife to Herendil. Coming from a wealthy family, Almáriel was among those that joined the Faithful since she was very loyal to the Valar and had always grown fond after hearing a lot of stories. After surviving Númenor's destruction, Almáriel would go on to marry Herendil and give birth to a son named Terendul. When the War of the Last Alliance began, Almáriel was slain by forces of the Dark Lord Sauron who had launched an attack upon Minas Ithil.
